CANCELLATION & CHANGE POLICY

Clear options when the weather changes the day.

Rain does not automatically mean cancellation. Light rain can be beautiful in photographs, and we will always discuss the options with you. We will not proceed when weather or local conditions make the experience unsafe.

When it is safe and you are comfortable, we can adapt the route, use sheltered spaces, or change the pace of the experience.

Safety comes first

For lightning, alerts, severe wind, flooding, closures, or unsafe travel, our operations lead makes a clear safety decision.

Fair next steps

We offer a same-day adjustment, a meaningful alternate route, a no-fee reschedule, or—when we cannot offer a comparable safe option during your trip—a full refund or future credit.

Mt. Fuji visibility is never guaranteed. When conditions are safe, the experience may still go ahead with a different sense of place; if it has not started, we can discuss one availability-dependent change.

If your own travel plans change, please contact Focus Japan as soon as possible. We will confirm available change or cancellation options in writing, based on timing, availability, services already arranged, and applicable law.

Booking terms, made clear.

A standard city-session booking is subject to availability and is confirmed when secure checkout is completed. The booking guest is responsible for providing accurate contact details and for sharing any access, mobility, timing, or photography considerations that may affect the session.

Plan duration, guest limit, inclusions, and the final payment currency are shown before checkout. Prices displayed in currencies other than JPY are estimates; secure checkout and the final charge are processed in JPY. Requests beyond the selected standard plan, including complex travel or advanced retouching, may require a separate written quotation.
